Mechanical Firing Module

Mechanical Firing Module

The Mechanical Firing Module is activated by the impact of a drop bar on a firing pin. The drop bar strikes the firing pin, shears a safety retaining washer, and drives the firing pin down to impact the percussion initiator.

Hydro-Mechanical Firing Module

The Hydro-Mechanical Firing Module is activated by the combined impact of a drop bar and hydrostatic pressure. The strike of the drop bar releases a firing pin while the hydrostatic pressure drives the firing pin down to impact the percussion initiator.

Hydraulic Firing Module

Hydraulic Firing Module

The Hydraulic Firing Module is activated by applied hydraulic pressure acting on a piston. When the set-pressure is reached, a tensile element breaks and allows the piston to drive a firing pin into the percussion initiator.

Base Module

The Base Module provides the interface between the firing modules and the gun system. Available in three different sizes, the module offers an industry standard EUE pin connection on top.

Automatic Gun Release

Automatic Gun Release Module

The Automatic Gun Release Module allows the perforating gun string to be dropped in the wellbore upon detonation. It is used with either of the different firing modules.

Complementary Modules

The Complementary Modules and accessories include Annulus Fire Modules, Debris Extension Modules, Time Delay Modules and No-Go Reducers; covering many well conditions and completions designs.

Dual Firing Head

Dual Firing Heads

Each of the two firing modules of our Dual Firing Head has a separate and parallel detonation train, providing 100% redundancy when detonating a perforating string. Combined with our Automatic Gun Release feature the perforating string can be dropped upon firing.

Other Firing Heads

Activation solutions for both TCP and coiled tubing perforating, including Ball Drop Firing Heads and Auto-vent Firing Heads. Safely and reliably fire perforating guns in various completions designs, downhole conditions and applications.

Mechanical Gun Releases

Facilitate the mechanical release of a gun assembly by jarring up or down using a slickline/wireline shifting tool. We offer a range of release tools and latch sizes for various downhole completion designs.

Dual Release Gun Hangers

Provides a reliable suspension of a perforating string in any section of a well without the need for an internal nipple profile. Installation can be done using a suitable setting tool and a conversion kit. The release can be activated ballistically or mechanically.

Dynamic Underbalance Tools

Dynamic Underbalance Tools

Creates a temporary pressure drop in the wellbore when perforating, which will flush debris out of the perforating tunnels for better flow of hydrocarbons.
